Who We Are
FaithSkate is a non-profit ministry based in the Memphis, TN area that reaches out to local skaters. Founded in 2008, FaithSkate sets up skate ramps and skates in the Faith Baptist parking lot every other Friday night from Spring thru Fall. We skate together for 2 hours stopping for a quick gospel message during the session. We also have a monthly skater Bible study and we take local trips to area skate parks. MORE...
Consider these facts:
- As of 2004, there are twice as many skateboarders in America than baseball players (Insurance Information Institute)
- X Games 12, held in Los Angeles from August 3-6, 2006, had 35.6 million people tune in to watch skateboarders and other extreme athletes compete. It was the highest TV rating ever among young men for ESPN. (ESPN, August 18, 2006 Press Release)
- In 2002, skateboarding became the fastest growing sport in the U.S. (USA Today, July 30, 2002)
- There are approximately 12-18 million skateboarders in the U.S., which accounts for 5% of the entire population. [U.S. Census Bureau 2000 data]

Ministry Mission Statement:
To share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to build Biblical relationships with skaters in the Memphis area.

I Cor. 9: 22-23 “...I have become ALL things to ALL men so that by ALL possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel...”
